 The objectives of our educational programs are
» To impart life skills training (Thinking skills, social skills, and emotional skills), health & wellness education, attitudes and values, gender sensitivity, work & art education, value education & integrity clubs.

International Conference on Entrepreneurship and leadership ICEL' 2018

» Amity University Uttar Pradesh (AUUP), India organized an International Conference on Entrepreneurship and Leadership (ICEL) on the theme "Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Sustainability and CSR" on 15th February, 2018 in association with various professional bodies and Government organizations such as MSME, NSIC, TiE, NEISBUD, CII and NEN at Amity University Campus, Sector-125, Noida.
 
» The USD Group represented by our president Mrs. Renu Bajpai, participated in this event as a Distinguished Speaker. She shared her vision of developing a Socio-Economic Incubator by USD team in collaboration with organizations sincere in CSR activities, to support Innovation in Entrepreneurship for developing sustainable models of livelihood. She also signed an M.O.U with Amity School of Economics to promote Social Entrepreneurship among Amity Students.

    USD Group's View: We strongly feel that New education targets by the Govt./Private Institutions in our Country must be more specific, relevant and measurable. While working on ground realities, we observed that Marginalized and disadvantaged groups are still not enjoying their right to education. Their education must be a priority. There is ever-stronger need of better monitoring and implementation efforts, including data collection, analysis and dissemination, to hold all stakeholders to account.
     
    EVENT - MISSION J.U.D.I (JOIN US TO DIGITIZE INDIA)

    » This time, we had young, dynamic, energetic Interns also in our team, from Amity School of Economics, Amity University who prepared a powerpoint presentation on BHIM App and explained the usage and various relevant details of the App.
    » For achieving the goal of complete digitization of India, our team from East Delhi Branch, once again organized a session for Girls and Housewives, to make them understand the concept of cashless transactions and practice it on their own.

      After the convincing presentation by the Interns ' Ms Parkhi Agrawal, Ms Aakanksha Singh, Mr. Arpit Gupta, Ms Sakshi Aggrawal and Ms Taranjot Kaur , an interactive session was also held to clarify their doubts which encouraged the audience to be more determined to go for cashless transactions in future. The team also assured them of the full support in case they face any challenge in using the App.
     
    » We got a very positive response from the audience and we hope for conducting more such events which will help us in achieving the milestone of cashless digital India.
     
    EVENT - A TALK SHOW (INTERACTIVE SESSION) ON EYE CARE MANAGEMENT AND MYTHS
    AND FACTS ON CATARACT

    » Eyes are an indispensable part of the human body and sans them it is not possible to view the beautiful seven colors of the rainbow or experience the beauty of nature around us.

    Keeping this in mind, USD Consortium in association with HOYA Medicals (A Japanese MNC), organized a talk show, by a renowned ophthalmologist Dr. Rushad Shroff from Shroff Eye Centre, on various Eye Care Issues including Cataract problem on 20th May, 2017(Saturday), followed by an interactive session with the Doctor, in USD's East Delhi Branch.

    Our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Shroff for his gracious presence in the event and clearing various myths & doubts on Cataract. The Chief Patron of USD Group Dr.(Mrs.) Kamlesh Dixit also honored the event. They were felicitated by the team members of USD Group and presented a very rich symbol of positivity - Tulsi Plant.

    The event catered to all the sections of the society, giving due emphasis to marginalized sections and illiterate class. A focused presentation on cataract surgery explaining - what is cataract, its symptoms and how it can be treated along with discussions on myths and facts related to Eye Care, became an eye opener for audience. This was followed by an eye screening camp and people who were examined were given medical advice on eye care management.

    » USD Consortium sincerely believe in achieving the vision of Digital India by supporting Indian Government, where every Indian is digitally empowered and every information is digitally available. But the fact remains that It is really tough for the illiterates who don't even know the meaning of digitalization. Although the government has created apps like BHIM for the welfare of those who are not pretty comfortable with digital transactions, yet We found that there are many such enthusiastic people who now want the initial handholding to learn e-transactions.

    So, we started our Mission J.U.D.I (JOIN US TO DIGITIZE INDIA) on 10th January,2017 from Patparganj area in
    East Delhi and got a very positive encouraging response.

      EVENT - SPONSOR A GIRL CHILD EDUCATION - BE A FACE OF SENSITIVE HUMANITY

    According to Mahatma Gandhi, "If you educate a man you educate an individual, but if you educate a woman you educate an entire family.

    USD Consortium is very much committed in taking the responsibility of providing quality education to as many children as possible for us, but without your support, this is certainly not possible.For thousands of disadvantaged girl children across India, only education can give them an opportunity to grow, learn, play and realize their full potential.

    We request all the sensitive Citizens to pledge for transforming the life of at least one underprivileged girl through sponsoring her school education.

    We will provide all academic support towards improving learning levels, material support like uniform, bags, books, hygiene material etc so that she can attend the school with dignity and get the required social support to enable her to remain in school.

    Your Contribution of mere Rs 300/-p.m. or Rs 3600/- annually will be extended towards the education of the girl child. We expect the sponsorship to continue till the child completes her schooling.
    This could be a child who has never attended a school or has dropped out for various reasons or a child attending a Government School and coming to the USD Consortium Education Center in Mandawali.

    USD Consortium is very much thankful to Mr. Amit Bajpai & Mr. Himanshu Dixit for becoming the starters in this mission. Both of them donated a chq of Rs 3600/- (Annual Contribution) to USD Consortium and sponsored a girl child's education.

    While struggling to make his ends meet, Mr. Bhoora Singh works on daily wages and lives in Mandawali, East Delhi. He has four children and Pooja, the eldest one, studies in class II . After getting the assurance of full support for her daughter's education, Bhoora Singh happily promised us to extend his support as well to continue her education .

      EVENT - OPEN DEBATE COMPETITION FOR HUMAN RIGHTS AWARENESS ON EDUCATION

    USD Group sincerely believe that Education is a fundamental human right & responsibility of all, it is essential for the empowerment and development of an Individual & Society as a whole. We feel that only an educated society can make this world a better & peaceful place to live in.

    Keeping in view the various efforts going on for Human Rights Awareness in Modern India, USD Consortium has organized an open debate competition on Human Rights Day -10th December.(2016).

    The theme of this year's event was : "Education is not a privilege. It is a human right."

    The Chief Guest & Keynote Speaker of the event was Mr. Sanjay Gora, a well known great thinker & Intellectual who is currently working as A.G.M, Corporate Affairs at Steel Authority of India Limited (S.A.I.L). He is also the Author of one of the Best Seller Book - "Know Your Self for better Work-Life Balance".

    To let today's children aware of the importance of Celebrating 14th November, the birth date of India's first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, (Children's day or Bal Divas), and the festive occasion of the birthday of the founder and first guru (teacher) of Sikhs-Guru Nanak Dev (Guru Nanak Jayanti or GurPurab), which falls on 14th Nov., this year i.e 2016,

    "How to Retain Positive thoughts to get a Meaningful Life"
     
    Govindji Maharaj strongly believe in the saying "It's not the load that breaks you, it's the way you carry it." He convinced the gathering why optimistic people are healthier and live longer than pessimists and motivated everyone to realize that even the most painful circumstances can teach us positive lessons. When anyone starts finding meaning in even the bad things they've experienced, they will be happier and more grateful. We only need to train our brain to be more positive.

    ITS, Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad in association with NIESBUD organized two day Entrepreneurship for MBA Students with the objective of Stimulating students to become entrepreneurs , Developing Entrepreneurial Culture among students, Creating Alternative Career option for them & Exploring the innovations of students.     Orientation program on Entrepreneurship Development for Management Students
    An Entrepreneur Is Intensely Dedicated To Develop Business Through Constant Innovation. In the orientation program organized for management students of I.T.S Management College on September 2, 2015.

    USD Consortium explained the mgmt. students, the critical role of NGO's in developing social entrepreneurs, how the social self-awareness attributes of managers and entrepreneurs differ and how the students should focus on developing themselves as an Entrepreneur.

    "An Entrepreneur Could Be A Manager But A Manager Cannot Be An Entrepreneur".

    This is what USD Consortium told these mgmt. students that the time has come to think of becoming an Entrepreneur rather than a manager

    To celebrate the 69th independence day of our country on 15 August and pay tribute to the martyrs, who sacrificed their lives for the security of the biggest temple of democracy , women's of USD group organized a small function and pledged to empower India again by helping our government in the skill development of every citizen of our country.

    Project - Legal Rights & Issues

    We organized a seminar on June 3, 2015 to to educate women and men on their legal rights and constitutional provisions granted to them by Indian Constitution.

    The Chief guest for the seminar was Mr. Vinod Kumar , an Advocate, graduated from venkateshwara college Delhi university , LLB from faculty of law Delhi university .

    His 19 years of practice in legal profession and specialization in the field of Anti - corruption cases, civil cases ,offences relating to crime against women and matrimonial disputes at all district courts , Delhi high courts And supreme courts were a great source of encouragement and enriching experience for participants.

    The founder member Mrs. Kamlesh Dixit was also present in the event and were a source of inspiration for all the participants.

    Although the seminar focuses more on legal rights & issues of women in India , many Men also participated in it and equally supported women to know about the laws meant for women only.
    Many legal issues like Child Care & Early Learning, Health Care , Employment Rights, Social Security & Retirement , Poverty & Income Support etc were discussed in this seminar .

    PROJECT - YOUTH ENTREPRENEURSHIP

    USD CONSORTIUM strongly believes that Skills and Knowledge are the driving forces of economic growth and social development especially in the context of globalization and when Indian economy is growing at an unprecedented rate. Youth unemployment is one of the greatest challenges faced by every economy across the globe.

    So we organized a seminar on April 2, 2015 to stimulate a debate on the potential benefits of youth entrepreneurship as a viable career option and to understand the obstacles that stand in its way, the policy measures & strategies that can be initiated to support it.

    The Chief guest for the seminar was Mr. lalit Sharma who is working as Senior Faculty Marketing in ITS, Ghaziabad and has over 16 years of experience both in the academia and the industry. He has authored 15 Management books at MBA level in the field of Research Methodology, Industrial Marketing, and Services marketing and 27 research papers presented in IIT, IIM, etc.

    His speech on the topic was a great source of encouragement and enriching experience for participants .

    PROJECT SU-AVSAR

    USD CONSORTIUM conducted a seminar on "CAREER OPTIONS AND JOB OPPORTUNITIES" on 17th January, 2015 which included talks on 'choosing the right career and job placements' by placement consultant Mr. Sanjeev Mohan who has an experience of more than 20 years in this field.

    Freshers, Graduates and experienced professionals attended the seminar and were very much satisfied.
